Yes, below the archeological ruins of a castle, in the town of Tintagel, England, is thought to be the cave of Merlin, according to many English writers. Tintagel even has mammoth Druid stones, "the" Knights of the Round Table, and a round table dated to be possibly the original. "King Arturo", an Italian name, has a marker for his grave there. This was the location of a Roman castle, it is thought. Many artists and musicians enjoy visiting. I was offered an artist in residence there.
