Description
With 28 years of botanical illustration classes behind me, I still teach, I continue to apply my art to other subjects. However, this type of work was what I believe I was intended to do. We must thank God somehow, and I have been trying to for years. There is a Christian story behind the naming of this ancient flower, that includes a miracle, a child and an angel. This flower is used very carefully in medicine, for many afflictions, I pray, as it's poison, that may cause skin rashes, and has even caused heart attacks to humans. Even wild life, cannot eat this deadly flower.
Also known as Helleborus orientalis, it found 5000 years ago in Greek, as an origin.

Hi Mindy is this a Helleborus ?? Apologies but I havent heard of a Lenten rose but it looks like a helleborus and is a very good study of one LF
