I was sitting on a crisp, sunny, and very beautiful day, in early October, 2020, outdoors at Schiller Park, Columbus, Ohio. A stranger sits on the bench opposite me and we never spoke. I just drew him in for compositional reasons. I liked the light and dark. This dark bronze or iron young lady sculpted with her umbrella is protected by an umbrella as it pours forth a waterfall, into the pond below.
