This tiny painting, thick with impasto, is a scene from the movie Man of La Mancha, with Sophia Loren. I was privileged to enjoy a lunch there with my husband, Ron, outdoors. Across from us sat this beautiful food cart, surrounded by red carnations. The painting is only 3" x 5" and was very difficult to photograph, due to the heavy coats of varnish. I did my best to get a likeness.
